What's In a Name: Part 3

So What's The Deal With "Smutty Chortle" You ask?

I was reading through all of the pages of NewMoonMovie.org from old to new to feed my recent obsession and I came across an article about non other than the phantasmal Robert Pattinson. In the article the writer describes a laugh by given by Pattinson when asked how he expected the (girl) fans to perceive his guy-on-guy behavior as a "smutty chortle." I was completely thrilled by the decsription. It's such a dynamic term that has an almost grimy yet elegant ring to it. And I could literally hear it being said with an English accent like it was from Faulty Towers or Are You Being Served.

Broken down-
Smutty means
1. soiled with smut; grimy.
2. indecent or obscene, as talk or writing: a smutty novel.
3. given to indecent or obscene talk, writing, etc., as a person.
4. (of plants) affected with smut.

Chortle means
1. to chuckle gleefully.
2. to express with a gleeful chuckle: to chortle one's joy.
3. a gleeful chuckle

So I'm thinking: grimy, obscene chuckle.

It's absolutely rich!!
